I was diagnosed 7yrs ago (FEB 2015) with PD. However, looking back I'd say I had it about 2 yrs. before that.  Some days are harder than others, but on the whole I am doing ok. Except for a foot issue which may force me to be in a wheelchair again for The Walk. But exercise is the KEY to success.  Therefore, we do need to get the word out that if you have PD you need to keep MOVING.  That's why the Central FL group is so wonderful.  They have so many helpful resources.  So don't despair. Give them a call.  They are thrilled to help those with PD as well as caregivers. And please donate to help make other MERRY MOVERS. And I hope you will participate in the walk this year.
