Welcome back to John Gabe's Gang 2025!
To Our Friends & Family,
I hope this letter finds you well. As many of you know, my dad, John, was diagnosed with PD 16 years ago. This journey has taught us so much, and the annual Walk for Parkinson’s is a powerful reminder that we’re not alone. It opens our eyes to invaluable resources and creates a sense of community, allowing us to share our experiences and support one another through the challenges of Parkinson’s.
This year, we’re participating in the walk at Crane’s Roost in Altamonte Springs on Saturday, April 12, at 9 AM, and we’d love to have you join us as part of "John Gabe’s Gang." If you can’t attend but would like to contribute, any donation—big or small—would mean so much to us and to the many families affected by Parkinson’s. Your support helps pave a new path, making the beautiful moments of life more accessible for all of us.
As we raise awareness for Parkinson’s, it’s also crucial to recognize the needs of caregivers, who play such a vital role in this journey. Educating ourselves about the importance of communication and sharing our needs benefits both patients and caregivers alike. Those who we see thriving in the face of Parkinson’s are often the ones who are willing to share their experiences. Let’s walk, punch, roll, shake, and shuffle forward together—every step matters.
With Love, Amelia
